You can also try folding your cotton sweaters in half hamburger style and storing them over the hanger bar.

    For an extra space saver, grab a few nifty under-bed canvas storage bins to utilize that hidden space. Just keep in mind that if you plan to keep your sweaters outside of your primary living space when not in use, like in a basement or attic, you might want to opt for plastic bins or bins with lids to keep any unwanted bugs from claiming your favorite garments as their own!
